Couples for Christ

Couples for Christ (CFC) is a movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life. The members have committed themselves to the Lord and to one another so that they may grow in maturity as men and women of God and fulfill their primary vocation of raising up families under the lordship of Jesus Christ and for the service of the Kingdom of God.

Love is in the air ..... la la la la la la .... Love is in the air ....

Glen and I were so blessed and inspired after serving as speakers at this last weekend's (3/14-3/15) MER1, with a back to back HER1 in Atlanta, Georgia.  We were so amazed to see how God had truly worked on every participant, service team (food and beverage, music ministry, entertainment, audio/video, kids watch, liturgy, facilitators, etc) and speakers.  The logistics was channeled by the flow of servanthood. The presence of each person was marked by the desire to serve another.

The retreats culminated with a mass celebration by Fr. Yuen (great homily!) and of course the renewal of vows of the MER1 participants and blessing of our joyful Handmaids of the Lord. The retreatants were mostly from GA and some from SC. But what made this event even special was to witnessed Bro Tat and Sis Ellen Reyes (area leaders of GA and area head of SC) renewed their marriage vows of 25 years together with the community...This is what Couples for Christ is all about.  We are all a Family ... recognizing and celebrating blessings of God's abundance as one body.
