Couples for Christ

Couples for Christ (CFC) is a movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life. The members have committed themselves to the Lord and to one another so that they may grow in maturity as men and women of God and fulfill their primary vocation of raising up families under the lordship of Jesus Christ and for the service of the Kingdom of God.

Happy Mother's Day to all Moms!
Fondest "Mommy-moment"

"My mama has always supported me with my multiple personalities in crafts and hobbies… from making cards, jewelry making, cross-stitching to baking and cooking. She is my number one supporter." - Fraulein Samson, SFC California San Jose-Milpitas

"Every single birthday (then) she would tickle me until I wake up, like my birthday alarm clock! Mama still fixes my hair until I was in senior high school." - Therese Habana, CFC Denver, Colorado

"A mother is the one who loves you no matter what, celebrates your successes and comforts you when you fall. She listens to you when you need to talk and provides wisdom when you need it.  In all she is the guardian angel God put on earth for you and your siblings." -Tina Cesarone, SFC Delaware

"Mommy is the epitome of the greatest mother one can ever have.  She worked full-time but never failed to prepare meals for us every single day when my sister & i were still studying.  She's my SuperWoman and My strength! - Jordan Jimenez, SFC Souhern California-South Bay

"Her pain, like Christ, brought me to this world; Her words, like Christ, nourishes my soul; Her love, like Christ, makes me whole. After Christ, who else do I love the most? Elizabeth Maderas Pangilinan - my Mom!" - Jon Ellis Pangilinan, SFC Hawaii-Honolulu

"My mom is a super hero, on times when I'm stressed, she flips it around to make it into desserts.  How sweet! - Richelle Domingo, SFC Southern California-West Covina

"God loves us so much that He gave each one of us a mother who will love us unconditionally and a reason for us to thank Him everyday." - TinTin Buensuceso, SFC Delaware

"My mother gave me the faith I have. She taught me, molded me into the person I have become" - Adrian OBrien, SFC Southern California, West Covina

"My favorite mommy moments are when we go to Saturday morning mass, say the rosary in front of the blesses sacrament, then go eat breakfast at Colonial, one of our favorite restaurants.  There we talk about boys and even fight a little." - Maricris Dizon, SFC Southern California-West

"My mom - the very first person who taught me about God and how to pray." - Sari Yoingco, SFC Southern California-Granada Hills

Belize was nothing short of humbling, inspiring, and amazing all at the same time.  Fulltime worker Kiesha Middleton and I were invited by Tito Sonny Aguiling and Tito Mickey Santiago (CFC New Jersey) to go on a mission trip to Belize City, Belize from April 13-21.  It was really an invitation that came out of nowhere for myself personally, and I was honored to say yes to the call.  However, with this being my first time serving out of the United States, I didn’t really know what to expect.  From the moment I arrived, we were greeted by the immense Belizian Sun!  Coming from Miami, you would expect me to be used to the weather, yet the heat in Belize was even more sweltering and more humid.  From the time that I walked down the stairs and arrived into the airport, I knew this would be quite an experience that couldn’t compare to anything I’ve previously been through.

Amidst the Financial Crisis
By Loiue Tecson, CFC Tennessee (Memphis), USA

I realized that I have a moral obligation to share with you things that currently shake and test my faith in the Lord.  Last Friday (April 3), FedEx shed off over 500 salaried employees in the Memphis corporate offices alone.  Unfortunately, I was one of those who spent their last day working at FedEx on Friday.
