CFC WORK WITH THE POOR GETS SUPPORT FROM ANCOP USA AND CANADA

January 27, 2010, Couples for Christ, ANCOP Canada and ANCOP USA signed a Memorandum of Agreement in a bid to formalize and concretize ANCOP’s support for CFC’s work with the poor.

The MOA was signed by members of the CFC International Council and the top officials of ANCOP, namely:  Temy Pangilinan, President of ANCOP Canada; Nick Borja, CFC National Director for Canada; and Ricky Cuenca, Chairman of both ANCOP Canada and ANCOP USA.

The MOA is a significant breakthrough in CFC’s expanded and more wholistic work with the poor.  Under the MOA, the partnership covers the building of homes for the poor and the implementation of programs on education, health and livelihood.
Ricky Cuenca hailed the partnership, calling it a “milestone.”  He further said that “this is clear affirmation that the Lord is guiding and directing the CFC community towards this new phase of our work with the poor.”
